Are children in diapers allowed in the pool?

In keeping with a Board of Health code, children who are not potty-trained are not allowed in the main pool. Children with diapers are able to use the kiddie pool if they are wearing a swim diaper. The kiddie pool is emptied every few days for sanitation.

Are rafts or “floaties” allowed in the pool?

Raft days are held once a month, when members are invited to bring rafts into the main pool. “Floaties” — and any type of child swim aid — are prohibited from the pool at all times. These types of flotation devices give children a false sense of security and are often linked to aquatic accidents. The prohibition of these flotation devices is in keeping with a state code.
